Maybe a distant relative ! Your 20 mins away if you live in Ashington. Do you find it a problem getting permission to shoot down your way ? I’m struggling to get any up here , it’s no use having all the gear but nowhere to shoot

Hard to get perms around here Wayne

that many poachers around our way that the land owners tend to say no 

me and my mate have been lucky mind we have a fair bit of land got some at morpeth and 6500 acres off the duke at Alnwick

plus a few factory's and there surrounding land as well

and all because we were in the right place at the right time

just keep at it some thing will come up u may have to drive some distance to get some we have some at Hexam as well

It’s true about being in the right place at the right time, or just starting a conversation with someone can end up with you getting a good permission. I have around 500 acres to shoot in but apart from a few pigeons I don’t have much to go at . I used to shoot the rats on a farm in Corbridge but new people took over and had their own man take over . Anyway nice chatting
