Lloyd90 509
When cycling with dogs, do you use a specialist attachment that goes onto the seat post? Quote Link to post

Saltmoon 2,208
I just hold one handed on the bike myself that way if he is going to shoot off I can let go but he jogs along next to me just fine and I find I've more control hold the lead while riding Quote Link to post

terryd 8,537
I will say though even with that attached if your dog is a bit of a lump and it does take off it will swivel it around the seat post no matter how tight it is clamped on but at least you have two hands on the bars and no his going no where. Mine actually spun the bike the side ways the sod lol but better than lead i would been on me ass 1 Quote Link to post
poxon 5,751
I do a bit of biking but not much if round the road in the nearby town on a lead I don’t really have no problems unless a cat pops up then it’s a case of legs out brakes on hold tight I’ve not been pulled off yet I try An spot things before they happen but normally the dog just casually canters by the side of the bike no problem if out in the country side off lead dog can run by the side of me no problem Quote Link to post
