FairPlay gnash your knowledge on all this is very commendable and something that’s obviously taken a lifetime of being in and around the gym, but for the average joe, roids  just represent there local 6ft 5 pimply necked, skinny leggged  bullying drug dealer who is just happy to fire everything and anything into themselves to look more intimidating usually in conjunction with a couple of lines of sniff to help the attitude along, the line between use and abuse is pretty invisible to the average man in the street ??

The biggest surprise for me is seeing someone who had shoulders like football's years ago. how much they shrink after giving everything up.

Ive seen a good few lads do just that..

But that type of person is a tiny % of steroid users it would be like alcohol getting a bad rap because of the group of wino's every town has even though the majority of people use alcohol sociably and in the right way....yes theres plenty of those pencil necked virgins who just want " stuff " now, without putting the work in to get it....but blame modern society dont blame steroids.....steroids have a legitimate use,as does alcohol....yet steroids get singled out when they are abused....blame a society that encourages abuse.... not a tool that has its place within an industry.

Mate I,m not blaming anything or anyone, all I,m saying is the pencil necks are what people see and associate with steroids, the folk just getting along with there training etc are not what joe public associates with roids, as you have said anything in excess will be bad for  you from a harmless burger to a nice pint, but it’s always the pricks and abusers that get all the publicity ??

It’s wild how much of a difference stopping training can make, especially in the shoulders! Muscle mass does fade fast once the workouts and diet aren’t there to keep it up. I’ve seen a few guys I used to train with go through the same thing. It makes you realize how much work and consistency it takes to maintain that size.

I know it's been a while, but I get why you’re curious—it’s a pretty common question. Steroids can have profound effects, and while some people use them to boost their muscle gains or performance, it’s another ball game to consider. I've come across people who felt they saw some short-term benefits, but most mention the downsides, like mood swings and potential health risks down the line.If you’re considering it, it’s vital to know what you’re getting into and consider alternatives, like nutrition and targeted workouts. You could look at steroids online canada for more info, but I’d suggest getting advice from a health pro if you’re set on it.
