Hello for co Meath,Ireland,

I have been away from the hunting game a long time,i spent a lot of my early days from 13 to 21 years of age hunting hares with lurchers, ferretting rabbits with nets[purse and long nets]digging and bolting foxes to lurcher or gun and a bit of bushing with a few terriers, Wow what a great life when i was young free and single and not a care in the world, but sadly times have changed and now 40 years on and close to retirement i have acquired myself a young lurcher pup,[first cross collie x greyhound]and i always kept a couple of russells  for a bit of ratting, but now is the chance for me to relive my youth and start up my old hobbies of long ago,...sorry i tend to run on a bit,..i am Dbod,i live in co meath Ireland and i am only getting back into lurchers and terriers,so looking forwardto getting a few tips along the way and if i can help a few with my earlier years experience at the hunting game,

Thanks lads, yes big changes in everything, when I was growing up and starting off with lurchers, the top lurcher was a 3/4 bred collie greyhound or the first cross deerhound greyhound, big enough to take a fox or hare, and loads of brain for rabbits day or night, but now I read its all saluki or bull,.....and most lurchers have a bit of bull in their makeup.
