And as for off side and whether a piece of Raheem Sterlings nasal hair was infront or behind a defenders earlobe..............who f****n cares just call whatever you see !! They seem to be overcomplicating things, just get better referees? Cheers, D.

Wilf i saw your post the other day about our season ahead and Pellegrini etc.....i remember wondering how you would be thinking on Sunday morning ....f**k me it was terrible !...we get pumped by them in the same ways, same scorelines every season and Pelle still sent them out on the attack....i think it will be a long hard season for us like any other. You may remember how I felt about the appointment of Pellergrini mate, at the time I just thought “oh for f**k sake.....more same old, same old” and I would have liked to see one of these young modern coaches instead. And also, the pre season before this one I watched us play City and they shamed us, in fact they changed their whole team at half time and never broke stride......we were terrible and 15 yards off the pace which isn’t good enough. However, hands up, I have been proven totally wrong about Pellergrini because he seems to be doing what I thought a younger bloke would do and buying young lads from a decent footballing culture and it seems we are looking ahead......I think yesterday will be a decent lesson for our young, developing side and they will learn from it (well I hope so anyway) so I’ll take a positive slant on yesterday. As I don’t need to tell you, the proof for a team like us will be when we play the teams who are around us, not the cities of this world. I know you know the score so you will understand when I say I’m not talking the job up like a silly schoolboy but I’m not throwing myself off a building just yet either. Id like to see us get behind these lads and see how they pan out next season.....surviving is enough this year, anything more is a bonus.

Stoney100 1,179
Realistically West Ham are a club on the up.......new stadium in the capital, a club with a decent enough history, an established mid premier league club that are now only a rich Arab away from becoming contenders for the premier league every season. When you look at Sunderland all I see is administration looming, it’s happened to bigger clubs and it’s only a matter of time before someone pulls the plug and the fall to obscurity will be complete. FACT.

WH to win the Prem Safc to go into administration. Lets see how you go ey lol Neither makes any difference to me tbh, just saying things the way I see it......how are Sunderland going to get out the mess they are in?? West Ham are probably better off now than when city or Chelsea got taken over by people with proper money and a will to win at all costs.....do you believe Sunderland are a more attractive prospect to a multi billionaire than a premier league club with a shiny new stadium amidst the bright lights of the capital?? Yes it might be considered as selling out, but in this day and age unfortunately that’s the way it is if you want to play with the big boys and West Ham are a million miles ahead of Sunderland already and only keep improving every year while you struggle in league 1. Just think about what you say......the job of getting Sunderland anyway near the premier league is colossus on its own, never mind being competitive in it......look at the likes of Leeds/derby/forest who are all bigger clubs than Sunderland and have all languished in the championship for years now and your not even anywhere near there level yet. Its all good being a fan, after all that’s what the game is all about for those not on the pitch......but talking absolute bollocks on the internet for the last ten years is taking it a bit to far by any mans standards. Also I never said West Ham will win the prem......but I’ll have £500 with you that West Ham will finish in the top 5 within the next ten years and Sunderland won’t.....take it while it’s all here in black and white Edited August 11, 2019 by Stoney100

But let's see if your prediction of WH winning the English top flight for the first time and Safc going into administration comes true. Don’t put words in my mouth......£500 West Ham will finish in the top 5 of the premier league within ten years and Sunderland won’t........come on your a gambling man max take the dead cert while it’s on offer Edited August 11, 2019 by Stoney100

I can only speak for myself, but as a fan I honestly never think about the “what if” (well, maybe once a year ! Lol)......I’m just happy following my club, I like who we are and what we are all about.......happy enough with that personally. I have said it before, I’d be a West Ham fan and happy if we were non league so none of it matters a f**k really to me in that regards. All that said, competitive sport is competitive sport and I want to see us compete and give everything and play nice football. Edited August 11, 2019 by WILF

The point is in ten years time West Ham will potentially be a top 5 club and Sunderland won’t be......is it that hard to understand? I’ve never said either will win the prem but your saying Sunderland will be bigger than West Ham one day which just won’t happen

Yeah I understand that mate, I just think it won’t be long till it happens and you may aswell embrace it when it does and enjoy the ride lol.......I wonder how many city’s fans would swap last night and everything that comes with getting results like that for a lower league clash with oxford at Maine road? Saying that look at Chelsea now, shocking really to what they were so maybe it ain’t all that

When Big Fat Sam was manager at our club I can hand on heart say I wanted us to go down because it would have meant the end of him......what we are about as a club means more than just “being in the PL” As it happens he went anyway and to some club where the so called fans don’t give a f**k what they are watching as long as they are “up there”......soulless c**ts who have f**k all about them or their club.
