3/4 greyhound 1/4 bull

Hi all,i am in the process of getting a 3/4 bred greyhound bull,i want to know your views on them as a all rounder,[deer,fox,hare and rabbit]do any of you lads and ladies own one or know someone that does,or have you,s had one in the past,

i have one now at 8 year old 100% fox dog pre ban he's done all asked of him but i will say ive never had him on deer as it isnt my thing

havent tried him on day time hares he does all of asked of him on the lamp catches rabbits well for his age and comes straight back when lamp off

my old man has owned him from 6 weeks old pick of the litter off a mate who owned his sire

how is he around other dogs Rio.

he is funny around other dogs but once used to them he is fine

Hi Mate my pal who I go out with (havent got my own dog yet but soon ) has a superb 1/4 bull 3/4 grey will take anything and I mean anything a great all rounder the only prob if you can call it a problem is he do nt know when to stop , he just runs through howthorne b/wire etc so he gets a few nicks and tears , hes good ok with other dogs and people I gess it depends how you break him to others

had one bred this way myself a bloke from scarborough bred him he was an excellent dog while i had him he took everything i put him on very fast and clever was fine with other dogs and terriers took deer for fun and other things with ease, ianb off here had him a while ago, only reason i had to get rid was problems at home tried to get him back but no joy wish i could get another as good.

well thanks lads for your replys,you have made my mind up for me,this is the type of dog i want,now the lad that was selling this 3/4 greyhound bull has decided to hold onto it,but thats life,so now i will wait out for a pup and add it to the stock i have already,so lads THANKS AGAIN and A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL.

hi there i have a 5/8 bull grey best dog i have had im sure the 3/4 will just be as good im is 10 and still get rabbits with it

Reading the hunting paper it looks like the bull has taken over the suluki into the lurcher world,i remember years ago when you read the countrymans weekly every add on lurchers and longdogs had suluki in them,but now its the APBT,s turn.
