mistwalker 0
Hi, i'm interested in this cross, what do you think about them, and what x is best, 1st or 3/4 grey for e.g stamina. and how tall would a bitch of these breedings make? pics would be greatcheers f.k Do a search and you'll find loads of pages with the same question. For what it's worth though, I own a 3/4 greyhound 1/4 deerhound and this is the mix I'll be sticking with - either 1/2 or 3/4 x. Whilst not as agile on rabbits as a whippet (obviously) she does a good account of herself. For bigger stuff, pre-b@n, she was spot on . Great nature too, gentle giant - my 17mth old daughter can take the utter p1ss of her and she laps it up as fun, but if anyone comes near the wee yin she'd have their arm off (definitely NOT a bad thing in my book) She's 28" and, like most deerhound crosses, took her til she was about 2yrs to grow out of being a puppy, but now, at 3yrs she's really flying. Hunts up well with a great nose, loves lamping, uses her head a bit more than I expected and has bags of stamina. Quote Link to post
