Scope for fenman

Got the theoben fenman now all sorted...

Been out and had one rabbit with it... (only rabbit i saw)

But not sure which scope to top it off with?

It had a richer optics 3-9×50 on when purchased.

But not sure i trust that make on a gas rammer.

Ive put a hawke sidewinder 30 10x42 on it for now, but i think these are more designed for pcp rifles?

There is some recoil a steady "thud" not what i would teeth rattler.

What are your opinions on scope choices please, maybe something of period.

I was thinking of something fixed magnifacation now, just point and shoot.

Perfect period scope crystal clear glass and mine with took the recoil of every springer I fitted it to and a rws52 and never ever shifted zero. Check if you do get one it's made in the Philippines. I'd upgrade the mounts as JJM said thats what i had i think they are called sportsmatch DM60,s

I was going to suggest a wtc, or a good quality fixed mag scope as they tend to be tougher than adjustable mag. I’ve got a 4x40 Apollo 4star on my sirocco. It’s been on that gun for 25 years and always holds zero.
