I  don't know haw that Newspaper bag held together with all the Ace burns but it did , it has always been a regret of mine that I never took pictures I thought it would last fore ever but tired Legs come to everyone so you have to pass the Baton

Was a different age and cameras etc weren't everyday things, pic were for special occasions, there's no pic of me a a babe till school photos lol, so the idea of takings pics of dogs or game was never on the cards... my old man would have leathered me for the risk of the pics being used as evidence.  The youngster with phones on cameras etc will never understand that memories were our cameras, meeting mates for a wander was our facebook and the Exchange and mart our forum.

yep same ...around 1980....£5 each I think they were.......two poly jills and a big silver hob......I  had never seen a ferret that was that colour befor

LR 9 lamps if you could get hold of them must have toured every scrap yard in Lancashire for them brilliant lamp and motorcycle batteries not today's sealed units had to top them up with distilled water or if you had none boiled water .and depending how you slung your battery either your coat was rotted or worse case scenario the arse of your pants .

We used a old Lucas lamp with a car battery strapped to a one of them shopping trolleys the old woman have used to take the basket of it and strap the battery to the frame made a right racket dragging that down the old railway line at 2 in a morning them was the days then we purchased a night owl lamp we thought all our birthdays had come at once haha

Used everything from old motorbike headlamps to disco lights with a piece of hose pipe as a handle use to carry my battery in a little cord bag and use to buy those cheap max jackets with tartan inners  a poor man's Barbour after losing a few jackets and bags I made a wooden box with a old fishing box strap did the trick
