The Fishlocker 201
I don't know if this has already been covered, but here is a short video I have made showing how to tie and mend a net. In my case I use this for making landing nets, crab pots and other fishing related uses. But could very easily be used for making a long net or purse nets for ferreting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8gQ8MR-bb0 Edited June 26, 2019 by The Fishlocker Spelling error 1 Quote Link to post

Must have taken him ages to create. And that homemade setup for keeping the net outstretched so its was easier to work with is a brilliant idea. My late grandfather taught me as a lad. Always had a fascination and taken real joy from learning skills like this. 3 Quote Link to post

Prawning is busy stuff mate especially if you’re tailing them. I’ve got a mate who creels for them now. Much less intensive. ? 1 Quote Link to post
