Furrosious ferreter 499
I would say it depends on the lock in question... Mine only comes out when locked FF Quote Link to post
bsasuperten 74
gun box has two locks so I put 1 of each key on the keyring locks are 2 ft apart so that's not going to work is it unless I put them on a chain seems a bit of a faff bsasuperten Quote Link to post
vizlauk 1,568
If your refering to a gun safe, it's logical! To make sure you lock it , keys should not be able to removed when unlocked Safety first Quote Link to post
Furrosious ferreter 499
What about a bungie cord or a quick release clip for one key or both FF mine only has one lock but i have two keys Edited June 24, 2019 by Furrosious ferreter Quote Link to post
philpot 5,005
I have two cabinets of different makes and on both units, I can remove the keys whilst unlocked as both sets of keys are on rings so I open one lock then take out the key and open the other. Never seen a cabinet where you cannot remove the keys whilst unlocked. Phil Quote Link to post
walshie 2,804
I've got Brattonsound single key vault type cabs and I can take the keys out when they are unlocked. I just tried it to make sure. Quote Link to post
