but i cant fathom out why...... cause after the bar has introduced its self to the squirrels back, what other can this offer other than extra weight...????

Well it would have the effect of the bar having a shorter distance to travel when the trap was activated so hence a quicker kill i suppose..........i will check with Kania and get back to you.

With the shorter distance to travel and making the the spring even stronger by putting more pressure on the spring ?

Hi Steve we bought three portacabins to renovate into toilet blocks for our caravan site,these mesh tunnels were fitted over heaters which we no longer required,as soon as I seen them they had a purpose,got another five all with places waiting for them.

Thanks for that Alun I will have to keep my eyes peeled for them or some thing simular ,liked the idea of screwing the tunnel to the board also ! they look nice and strong so they won;t get damaged in the van on route to jobs best regards Steve
