jackg 7
Set 5-6 traps in a garden which back onto a field, so the mole has a larger territory than just the garden. Nothing caught after three visits. Going to check this week. How do folk charge for your time if nothing is trapped? Quote Link to post

LuckOrJudgement 437
Unless youve got a contract with a customer to provide and service a trapline, it's usually 'no mole - no money' You'll struggle to get repeat business if you charge without producing. Is there a fence between the property and the fields? Quote Link to post
Nicepix 5,650
I always tell the customer "No mole - no fee" but it hasn't happened yet. I almost failed last month with a regular customer who's mole had retreated elsewhere. But a spell of heavy rain caused it to return and was trapped less than a foot inside the customer's garden. As has been said; if you charge for no results you are likely to lose future business from that client and anyone who they talk to about it. 1 Quote Link to post
jackg 7
Thanks is for your comments, there is a fence, cannot see clearly if there are any hills in the field as the grass is well grown. just have to grin and bear it. Hope that the rain has drawn it in. Edited June 2, 2019 by jackg typo Quote Link to post
Nicepix 5,650
If you haven't already done so, put a trap in the tunnel under the fence. 1 Quote Link to post
