foxing with a whippet cross

Just wondering is it possible to catch/hold foxes with a whippet/grey/?

I know that the dog in question only has runners in her e.g. no terrier or collie but shes pretty good on rabbits.

she would only have to hold the fox as i would be there to dispatch.

yes it is possible mate ive seen whippets take fox,the only thing i would suggest though is enter it with a dog that knows what its doing for the first few times at least. some dogs will automatically take fox but some will not depends if the dog has got it in her to.

THERES NO REASON WHY A PURE WHIPPET WONT CATCH A FOX MATE,BUT THERES A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CATCHIN THE ODD FOX AND CONSISTANTLY CATCHIN FOXES,HOWEVER THERES MANY WHIPPET CROSSES OUT THERE THAT DO THE JOB THAT SUITS ITS OWNER,YOU CANT ASK NORE THAN THAT FROM A DOG HOWEVER IF YOU WANNA DO IT PROPERLY GET SOMETHING MADE FOR THE JOB,IF YOU'RE WORRYED ABOUT SIZE DONT THERE'S PLENTY OF SMALL DOGS THAT CONSISTANTLY TAKE GOOD NUMBERS OF FOXES...

THIS BITCH IS ONLY 23" @THE SHOULDER,ALTHOUGH NOT A WHIPPET CROSS IS GOOD ENOUGH TO TAKE FOXES REGULARULY!!!

Taff......is that to gain the benefit of the whippet? or merely to add more running dog blood to what can sometimes be a heavy cross?
