After some permission

Recommended Posts

its not going to fall out the sky... i worked hard to get my permission & work hard to keep it, & it didnt come over night.

get on the phone & start calling local farmers. if your next question is how do you find them, then " www.yell.com " will tell you.

how shold i break the ice with them??obviously its not best to just cut to the chase or isit??

If there's a local(ish) hunt in your area, go along to a few meets. Alternatively go to cattle markets or pony sales.

You'll soon see who the farmers are.

Get to know a few people, talk sensibly and "feel your way in" It takes time and trust to get decent permission.

Good luck

get your local farmers in your area, & ask if they need any help with controlling any rabbit, vermin problems. let them know you have insurance, that youll show respect for their land, livestock & bounderies.. the worst they can say is no..

the land i have access to is all in a stones throw from each other. youll find that when you do finally get permission other plots will fall into hand.. other land owners neighbouring the land will see you out.

remember one thing though.. once you do get your plot, treat it like gold as its hard to get & easy to lose.

good luck in your search..

Darren, permission takes time and lots of knock backs. I live in heavily shot over countryside and have to drive over an hour to some permission and others I can only go on certain parts of the year. Just keep plugging away.

 I quite agree! What I will say though is that permission is a bit like buses, you wait ages for one and then several come at once! Keep at it, I did and Ive got quite a bit now. :D
