Can anyone tell me if there is anyway I could get to see some real grey squirrel hawking.I recently read about it and as a keen grey squirrel pursuer and an ex falconer of many years ago I am keen to know/see more.I live in W.Yorks. Ive hunted squirrel with hawks for a few years now, but just recently sold my birds to concentrate on my business. harrises and redtails are ideal for this type of hunting. dont let anyone talk you out of not doing it because of the dangers involved- if you know what your doing, its no more dangerous than huntin anything else. Ive flew harrises, reds and gosses at squirrels for years , caught hundreds and never had one bite- but there is a knack. Pm me if you want any advice, al Quote Link to post
