Hw97k pellet choice?

I have a 2001 hw97k (its one that has the longer barrel then cocking lever)

Has anyone done pellet testing on one of these and what findings have you had please?

You have the best 97 of the lot, an original mk1 by the looks of it. Even though it’s kinda a newer Mk1 in 2001.

you do get the odd flyer but this is made up for when you see just how hard they hit

iv had 100,s of hw97,s and all love the jsb pellets but not the 5,51,s mind

I use the trophy’s in 5.53 in my 97 that’s the same as yours, most other pellets are that slack they fall out of the breech!

AA fields 16 gr  , JSB express 14 .3 gr , Falcon accuracy plus 13.4 gr 

I find these pellets are great in HW guns, spring and pcp

What should i set the zero at?

25mtrs covers most options ,set zero for this and then set up a 50 meters target to check from drop off .Anything over 50 at sub 12lb ft will be chancy atb

I use trophies in all mine in both calibres. I find them to be the most reliable, and don't they ever make a crack on contact
