Scratching dogs are always there, regardless of breed and mix. for to knock down on a cross for a bad one is giving up too easily. With the mother's drive, they can become good active family dogs, unless they work for hunting. 1 Quote Link to post

I believe none of the litter made the grade on quarry that bites back either. I'd go for one of those 'scratch dogs' every day before any type of AB. Handsome is as handsome does....!
