Stuff I find useful and functional. If I ran a million miles in a handstand between each set I could probably do crossfit! I'm only jel mate cos I cant do them ....it hurts my back foots big toe I cant bend it like that....to get a full range of motion...I like the Romanian split squat....but out of all the leg exercizes I like front squat the best...its just so quad dominant..keeps the back real upright ...but I cant rack it properly..i have to cross my arms to hold it

Then maybe superset with goblet squats, again close stance. I like lunges etc just because they take the back out a bit and are a very functional movement that translates into day to day life well. Do you mind me asking what age you are? but if in that condition people don't mind saying and adding years. There proud to say they are 52 and ripped. You said it before on here but that was years ago. You've just ruined this thread for the other old guys that have to compete with that ya show off. Them boys were just looking for a horn so it would act as a brake and stop them rolling out of the bed and not compete with Ronnie colemans brother that's a boxer aswell. Well done for setting the bar on the midlife crisis thread so high when the guys were taking 1 step at at a time and step 1 was pissing without farting. God love you
jukel123 7,957
What's it all about? I keep seeing young fellas looking like Belgian blue bulls. I feel really puny beside them and think I'm glad I didn't run into these fellas when I was younger and thought I was Mohamad Ali. But then I think this obsession with body image is the male equivalent of skinny female models and anorexia. Is it some sort of rejection and dissatisfaction with the body you were born with? Genuinely don't understand it. Half of young people are far too fat and don't give a f**k that they look horrible and the other half are working out, popping pills/ protein shakes or starving themselves. Weird!!!! downsouth 7,229
The last time i trained seriously was over 2years ago at one the big trendy gyms that are popping up everywhere.I was shocked at the ammount of lads barely out of school that were absolutely full to the brim with gear. All stood round chatting for everyone to hear about what cycles they were on. Rabbit Hunter 6,613
Just to add, it’s not just the juice but also the fake life they like to lead. Driving round in flash motors on tic while they’re still living at home with their parents and not a penny to scratch their arses with. Anything for a like on FB

Gnasher will know better but to my knowledge your bodies ability to metabolise protein is not limited. Arguably what is limited is your bodies ability to direct that protein into muscle building. The rest will be directed to energy production/storage. I believe for the average fella the limit I talk about is about 30-40gms in one sitting.
