king 11,972
A few lads in the village years ago used to get steroids off the local farmer and jab them. The bottle said. 15 bull 10 stallion 7 ram I'm not sure what the volume of dosage was though. Then they would pinch coal 5 nights a week from the coal washery as training
WILF 46,712
For those who are interested, there’s a good documentary called “Forks over knives”........nutrition wise (especially for a big meat eater like me) it was a real eye opener. I think you have to take these things as a “whole” thing......so what you put in your gob is as important as what you do at the Gym. Sounds obvious, but I think its more than just “I’ll eat more chicken”......like most things, research and learning is king.

And the aches you should be experiencing are perfectly normal....pain no....aches yes. Remember...." If you want things you have never had,you must be willing to do things you have never done " Just see how it go,s. When the aches dont ache no more is it time for a weight increase would you say ? Seem to have hit a brick wall.. never ache no more to be fair and just feels like i havent done enough even when ive had a good pump on and sufficent workout.... as before id feel very sore when waking up. I train alone so havent got a spotter or someone the push me that little bit further maybe..

Calories are far more abundant in the 21st century than at any time in human development. Combine that with the fact we're all running on stone age hardware and you start to understand why many of the biggest killers are directly down to what goes in the hole under the nose.

I think that what 'we' think we know about nutrition is being challenged more now. Over simplification of nutritional science like "too much sugar is bad for you....... fruit has sugar........ careful how much fruit you eat!" is being found out. Same imo with meat, saturated fats and to a lesser extent fat in general. Can't argue though that unprocessed food and majority plant based is almost certainly the way forward.

That's why I was talking about being a hypocrite earlier in the thread. I'm washing down my cheese on toast with a bucket of coffee. Keep it simple. Compound lifts. Get stronger. Watch your diet Tell you what mate i cant squat for shit.. very weak when it comes to squats.. defo the noodle legs .. but getting there but f**k me my thighs kill after.. squatting is by far my biggest weakness. But i recognise that and am working on it ..
