Moocher71 4,049
Couple yrs ago a keeper on the estate near me said he had seen a albino fox a couple of times .few months later he was checking the Larson traps etc and to his surprise he had got it ,it was a raccoon dog . he called a zoo and they had it,they said folk buy them not knowing how to care for them so release them once too big etc . you never no what you going to find , Quote Link to post
fielder 18
My daughter saw a raccoon a few times here in North Shropshire. I thought she was mistaken until she got a photo. Edited April 4, 2019 by fielder 2 Quote Link to post
keepdiggin 9,559
There's over 200 loose around the UK I read somewhere Quote Link to post
Greyman 28,268
The uk population of raccoons is estimated at 5000 I believe, plus you have a small population of raccoon dogs from Asia to cloud the water but yes they are also here living, quite a big population of not very stealthy scavengers to avoid the keen eyed hunters of thl for all these years Quote Link to post
