mole trapper 1,693
Forgot to say sorry, they will both have liners, not decided which colours yet though. Loveless bolts in either brass and ss, or copper and ss, or brass and copper. Edited March 27, 2019 by mole trapper

Its my OCD side I've already bought my domain names and email address, it is going to run with the same name as my cider line! I think it will keep HMRC, accounts etc more straightforward.
mole trapper 1,693
Rough shaping done on the next one, not used g10 liners before not sure I will again, just have to see how it turns out, the birds eye maple is more interesting than I thought it would be though. mole trapper 1,693
Pretty much finished, sharpened and stropped, as my old man used to say "a blind man would like to see it"

My mate who makes knives for a living insisted it would be fine once I'd sanded and oiled. He was of course correct I would use g10 again now I see the light.
mole trapper 1,693
Oh one other thing! My bevels are pretty shocking I know. I had to do them free hand, but now ordered a bevel jig, also a knife vice so quite an expensive week.
mole trapper 1,693
I do like liners too, they really can set off a knife.

The steel from GFS, and some of the wood. Most of the components so far have been off the bay (cheaper), In fact actually, now I come to think about it, nearly everything is from the bay, even stuff for the leatherwork, with exception of the hide which I bought from Italy.
