quick release lead and collar

hi all just want some general info on where i can get a quick release lead from i.ve searched the internet but i can only find nylon ones and i was looking for a leather one please can some one tell me where i can get one from.

stick to the rope through the collor. the toggle release type look allright but ive never used them but the shorter ones arent up to much imo, especially for the money.

i carn't get on with them either i keep pressing them when i dont need to i stick to rope

i lost my toggle slip lead the other week and was gutted as it was a good bit of kit but now i am into the rope and collar its very cheap if lost and its much simpler but if you do have slip i wouldnt bother with the ones you slip at the collar way to much faffing round for my liking!

prefer a simple piece of rope too but heres a few places you`ll get them

Blackdog trading is good.

 

I would just use a length of nylon strapping through the collar though.

 

Infact i have a quick release lead/collar you can buy if you want.

Just reading through your responses, I too can vouch for craftsmanleather.com, I've never seen collars like them we've had great danes for years and won't go anywhere else for yjeir collars and leads. He'll make them exactly the way that you want them - hand made I might add, and you'll never see another one exacly the same! Try him.
