shaneg 2,578
Has anyone ever run this cross it’s something that’s been in my head for a few years now. I think the foxhound could bring a lot to the table. Stamina. Make a good day time rough hunting dog hopefully be handy markers. It’s something I’ve on my head to do in the next year or two. Try get a decent grey bitch that’s not afraid of teeth and put a good solid old English dog over her that’s a very good marking hound 3 Quote Link to post

Just to get the right greyhound and right foxhound. I was also thinking about getting a foxhound bitch and putting a racy bull greyhound over her but I think it would take from the speed a bit Edited March 7, 2019 by shaneg Quote Link to post

I just think they could make a real handy all round cross I could be completely wrong. But after spending a few years in hunt service it’s got me thinking how good some foxhounds are and what they could bring to the table. On paper it adds up to exactly what I want in a dog but 2+2 don’t always make four. Quote Link to post

Cracking animal, and very useful apparently. Certainly looks a fast dog 2 Quote Link to post
