what gps are people using on there lurchers? I’m looking at the Astro 430 at the moment but not sure what collars to get the reg or the mini any info or advice would be great thanks

I got the Astro 430 with the t5 mini collar. The normal t5 collar are a lot bigger n look too big for a lurchers neck if you ask me. Depends how much range you want mine got 4 miles.

T5 and T5 mini are near enough the same apart from the size of the battery and a slight better range the T5 is way over the top for a hunting dog over here it’s made fore the USA where the dogs hunt for hours on end and can go missing and cover miles upon miles of ground 430 is a good shout then there’s the Alpha which is near enough the same spec but has a touch screen instead of the buttons

Is the sportdog tek1 automatically set up for the UK mate? What sort of price roughly?

Yep just turn on and away you go,nothing fancy like maps or anything but shows where your dog is and the distance plus when your dog as stopped moving ideal for the price £300
