the non borzoi look appear to be what we would call lurchers.

Yep! it looks 100% lurcher-like :))) they are very nice and friendly with owner and whole family, significantly less arrogant than borzois))) after all, borzois were dogs of aristocracy and khortiy helped farmers families to survive in hard times

Both borzoi and khortiy are very cool from my perspective! that's why i got a litter from borzoi female and khortiy male! :)

Sounds interesting. Alot of the dogs I've been watching, I just took to be magyar agars or similar? Alot of good dogs seen, whatever their breeding. I've been pleasantly surprised by many of them ?

What type of land you running che ? Bet the biggest fen fields here look like allotment plots to the land in the eurasion plains of east russia

Well, in Tver area where we live in it is not as cool as on the south, where are steppe vast areas and miles and miles of fields. Fields here are like 200-300 acres, not bigger, so it think in UK you have more space for hunting, honestly. And you also have rabbits!
