spsurfer 891
Hello, nearly finished, this "Wanderer" with 90mm blade from 1.3505, soldered guard from brass, spacer from stellar seacow and a nice piece of sambar. You never know how the colours will turn out on a piece of sambar, this one got some really nice, deep honey colours. It's still missing the pommel.. waltjnr 6,868
Not bad,can see a few flaws, you need to pay attention to the final finish, still looks very made in the garden shed from a kit, you'll only get better! 1

spsurfer 891
There are flaws, hope to get rid of on the final finish. First the pommel as I will stain the handle with Epoxi... Regards Nicolas

spsurfer 891
Exactly, with files, sand paper.. I soldered two 3cm tubes on the brass plate for better bonding with the stag. Drilled two holes in the end of the handle and glued everything with Epoxi. Regards Nicolas
