Ratting in London

Where’s a good place to go ratting in the Greater London area. Used to have a great little Border bitch who was always catching rats around the lake at Vicky park. Got a Kerry blue now but he’s to dopey tho catch anything. Seriously want a nice Plummer now. Any ideas? Don’t wanna pay a fortune for a dog

Try the dogs homes for a terrier that was to active and driven for the average pet owner in a city,i'll have a bet there's a few different terrier types to choose from.But try the plummer pages on face book as there's sometimes a pup or two advertised on them..

Anywhere along the River Lea,any of the underground stations early morning,the chinky boat restaurant outside London Zoo.....in some parts just walking along the street will give you half a chance.

Was always put off chasing the big money in London because of not getting the sort of quality down time I need.

Maybe I was wrong after all. Probably get more sport down there than up here!

Rats ain't hard to find up there I saw more as lad than I ever have since I've moved to Devon and more foxes as well. My staff was always chasing something furry doing my paper round lol

Seen a vid clip the other week of a mcdonalds car park Hunslet rd leeds  with loads of rats in the bushes and near the bin area , looked so good sport

Half the pleasure is getting on your tredders with your dog and finding your own places

Just watch out for animal rights numpties not sure if you can get done under the hunting act killing rats in public places with out permission that's how fekin stupid the hunting act is.

Anywhere rubbish is piled up, empty industrial places ,any places by water . 

Any terrier cross or whippet  will do .

Low tide lamp the thames shoreline,places where sewage outlets etc are,riverbanks are havens for rats.
