Marko1970 1
Hi everyone I am thinking of putting in for my FAC so as of now I am researching everything before I start the process. I am also looking for a home office approved gun club near Glasgow so I can start trying guns and seeing what fits me. So all help is really appreciated.

I am going to join a gun club first and practice there then I will apply for my FAC once I am competent with a gun I used to shoot air rifles when I was younger. I did pest control for a farmer but that was years ago so thought I would join this site and try and get help on which gun and calibre I should go for and what's the best all round gun as I want to start a pest control company ie rats rabbits deer pigeons crows etc

Some are 3 months, but most are 6 and you couldn't use a gun club as your good reason for a firearm until you are a full member. The sooner you join one, the better. My company specialises in larger animals/birds and firearms work, I get a lot of work from other Pest Control companies who advertise all services but simply don't deal in Firearms work. Even with my many years with firearms, great connections and a good reputation I would struggle to make a living just shooting things!

Marko1970 1
Yes I know there is not a lot of money in it but that's someway off first I need to find a home office approved gun club near Glasgow and take it from there. I was also Considering doing a deer management Company but as I say that's a long way off just now
