boris have you got the gutter down pipe running into the aco drains.im looking at building something similar myself this summer.

im thinking off running a lengh of sink waste pipe the lengh of the block where the floor meets the bed box but a few inchs up with holes drilled in it and linked up to a water butt so basically turn the tap on and water spills into each block.then sweep out.saves fecking about with buckets or hose pipes.then use 1 of these floor squidgys

It might freeze up and you would need a fair bit of pressure to make it work effectively

I made summat similar for watering things and even off mains water took forever

i was thinking it would be a simple easy method to wash out black neck.1 of these connected up few cap fulls of jeyes in there and just use the tap on the butt.i was thinking surely there would be enough pressure with a full butt.the excess water then would go into the aco drains to constantly flush it.

I'd use a tidy fishpond/hydro pump ,to pump the water ,flick the switch or have it on a timer?

Difficult to explain say you have the water but 1 end and you have 3 runs your pipe wi the holes in starts at first run and ends on the last un ,when you turn the tap on unless you have a very high pressure the first run will get all the water and the others none

I got summat similar mate, it’s called wee don ?, an he pressure washes em an drain covers every few days as even tho me mutts rarely toilet in kennel ye end up with leaves am crisp packets am allsprts stuck to drains especially if ye garden is exposed to wind, that an at end of kennel base we have a trap I think it’s called an that had a cap thing he opens an flushes down, most days it’s jist a quick hose an it runs away naturally an when he does clean it it’s just a good ole stiff brush am a bucket of trigene an water ? then a pressure washer down, that jeyes an battles black used to eat my crocs ?? so stopped using it an use same gear as me vet noo, not lot diff In price an smells million times better ?

the last kennel block i had in wales it used to piss me off using the hose i would walk up the garden and forget to turn the tap on by the house then have to walk back down etc lol.

thats why i was thinking of a butt full of water all plumbed in.i cant wear them crocs lol i live in my defenders.known me i would whack the big toe on something if i was sporting the crocs.i will look up that trigene never heard of it.

Would have to run a hose out either side of butt an into each end of the runs an even then if runs are too long middle one may not got enough, can buy proper sprinkler systems that they use for borders an such tho that don’t spray water in air jist lets it down into soil, or for all the time it takes is just use hot water an what ever detergent anyways? could use the water but to flush ye drains tho

Them watering systems work cos the holes in the pipe are tiny it would take all day to get washed down

i was thinking sink waste pipe but after brother black neck said about the first run getting all the water.maybe a stainless steel pipe with smaller holes would do the job.just want to make things easier

Can buy bigger ones mate, but I doubt a but would do using gravity alone? or get a butt an get a switch down there an buy one them pressure washers that can run off a reservoir rather than a tap? my kennels are right by back door an me tap is in one the kennels so I’m handy an. No messing ?

Surely there must be a plumber on here that can put us all right

And not the fecking terrier for anyone ses ote ?

What ever way you do it run a loop so water feeds in both ends of runs if that makes sense

could put the water butt at the back of the block pipe coming into the block in the middle to a T and branching off leaft and right it would be even feed and pressure to each pipe them.

although i was expelled from school at 12 i must of learned something lol

? I’d say the last run would get all the water and not the first

if more water could get in than be released it would pressurise from the furthest point back to the tap surely
