Saluki or Sloughi

Do any of you guys have experience with either of these to breeds or Xs of these breeds? If so I you like to know your thoughts on them and if you know of anywhere in the states I can get them.

I know a guy in South Australia who runs cross Saluki's,they handle the heat well and good stamina but difficult in recall and moody.I wouldn't want one.There's good lines of Staghounds in the states that come from old lines of hunters that would handle the game there.

Yea I will probably keep looking around and then when I have the space I will most likely get a staghound. And thank you i have heard that they can be difficult i was just curious and i want to learn more about them.

i got both ,1st x and pure and a saluki saturated dog.....difficult?   not particularly..just patience testing at times

salukis and x's can be very different to your gundogs, you'd be better off spending time with them first, because you'll either get on with each other or you WON'T. Plenty of topics on here to read. Plenty salukis in the states

Get right type of saluki not show bred and you will have no trouble.

I think I am going to keep an eye out for a Saluki but I definitely want to make sure it’s not from the show lines and would like to get some experience with them and sighthounds in general.
