TOMO 26,070
some of you may remember I freed a fox that was tangled by his back leg on a fence....I did a little thread about it on here and a few picks... I have witnessed a hare go up a hollow tree that was off the ground at an angle..it went right up to head hight..it was quite rotted and had small holes in ..could have touched the hare or even grabed it....but it was left in peace...that was after a good course well befor the ban.. seen a few rabbits and hares take to rivers to escape dogs... seen a kangaroo run in to a tree and kill its self in oz with a lurcher on it arse.... like mac I have done the safari thing in Africa....one of the highlights for me was seeing a honey badger mooching around...and a cheetah starting to try and hunt some thompsons gazelle ...she was unsucsessfull ...also had to remove a bat from the thatched bungalow we were stopping in..wich was a worry cos they can carry rabies

mackem 26,264
Went to a bat roost in a jungle couple of years ago, there were monitors and pythons as the sun was setting that wait at the cave entrances to grab a bat snack but I went to early and was attacked by mozzies so just had a look and didn't hang around. 5

gnipper 6,432
I watched a stoat drag a young grey squirrel out of its drey high up in a big old beech tree and drag it down to the ground once at work. I've also seen a grey and a red come out of the same drey. When I was a kid I came home from school and the cat was sat looking out the patio doors and there was a massive hare sat eating in the middle of the back lawn happy as a pig in shit. My parents garden was a good distance from the fields and the route the hare took to get out took it over next doors 3ft wall through a gap into the next roads gardens and away up the main road? Feck knows how or why it got in there to begin with.

TOMO 26,070
just remembered another funny'ish incident that happened whilst in south Africa.....we were eating at a restaurant sat outside....and a good few meters away high up...was this big feck off spider......now I had no idea what it was or even if it was poisonous .....don't get me wrong it was plenty far enough away to be no threat..... but I was intrested to know....so as the waiter was a black fella....and me assuming he would know ...cos "they" know about nature and stuff....I said to him " here mush whats that big spider over there......well feck me..he nearly had a stericks...flapping around like some crazy fecker.....at this point me and my girlfiend started to get uneasy....thinking it must be deadly....until another waiter calmly came over and killed it.... turns out it wernt deadly or owt....just the first waiter was shit scared of spiders...lol
