Ted Newgent 4,896
we also have whitetailed deer breeding with mule deer which leads to complications if you are caught with a dead one within the eyes of the hunting laws

Quote Jim Martell, a hunter from Idaho, found and shot a grizzly–polar bear hybrid near Sachs Harbour on Banks Island, Northwest Territories reportedly on 16 April 2006.[1][3] Martell had been hunting for polar bears with an official license and a guide, at a cost of $45,450,[8] and killed the animal believing it to be a normal polar bear. Officials took interest in the creature after noticing that while it had thick, creamy white fur typical of polar bears, it also had long claws, a humped back, a shallow face, and brown patches around its eyes, nose, back, and foot, which are all traits of grizzly bears. If the bear had been adjudicated to be a grizzly, the hunter would have faced a possible CAN$1,000 fine and up to a year in jail.[9] A DNA test conducted by Wildlife Genetics International in British Columbia confirmed it was a hybrid, with a polar bear mother and a grizzly bear father.[3] It is the first documented case in the wild,[10] though it was known that this hybrid was biologically possible and other ursid hybrids have been bred in zoos in the past.[11] Amidst much controversy, the bear has since been returned to Mr. Martell one hunter here in sask plugged a whitey x mulie,he reported the kill to the COs and lost his hunting for a year. the hunting laws dont accommodate for x species so its an illegal kill...............sigh

I guess a pure polar would kill a smaller grizzly? you would think thats the correct approach but the authorities in north america dont see the fckn obvious solutions the hunting laws over here are so damn complicated, its almost a battle trying to stay legal. the hunting laws are clear cut back in the UK

Greyman 28,252
A new species of grass snake was discovered on our own tiny island last year, it’s just evolution and if it’s not meant to be the offspring will be sterile, look at how many subspecies of domestic cat and dog we now have, all have evolved from one source, 16 sub species of leopard all evolved to fit in every little niche that nature can throw at them, it’s been happening from day dot, we just seem to have this obsession of categorising and pigeon holing everything today even people

I,m not Darwin, but to me an animal like the domestic cat, that came from the wild to live around fishing ports before moving into our homes have evolved, pandas refuse to evolve and will ultimately bring about there own demise, I may be over simplifying things but that’s how I’m seeing it, Urban fox,s have become 40 percent smaller than there rural relatives, they our adapting and evolving into a subspecies designed to fit in bins and under gates rather than hunting live prey ??? Francie 6,368
evolution /ˌiːvəˈluːʃ(ə)n,ˈɛvəluːʃ(ə)n/ noun 1. the process by which different kinds of living organism are believed to have developed from earlier forms during the history of the earth. synonyms: Darwinism, natural selection "early ecologists were not interested in evolution" 2. the gradual development of something. "the forms of written languages undergo constant evolution" synonyms: development, advancement, growth, rise, progress, progression, expansion, extension, unfolding; More notice the use of the word kind here in the dictonary meaning, even tho sceptics of the word kind ask you to define it? Evolve is a word used loosely, adapting would be more accurate. Weve never seen one kind evolve into another kind, ie cat kind to dog kind. But the debate keeps on going. Macro evoloution is the the one no one has ever seen, ie cat kind evolving to dog kind. Micro evoloution is the one jig is referring too, same kind, just variations within, ie size clour. Although creationists would just call micro evoloution, adapting.
