stu_young 3
looks like it needs more baggin but i'm no expert by a long shot Quote Link to post
mole catcher 1
looks like it needs more baggin but i'm no expert by a long shot there dosnt seem to be any running kill(bagging) in that net. Devvo, for every yrd of length on the running lines you will need to have 2 yrds of netting, this will give you that all important LOOSE netting that holds the rabbits if you look at this pic of a net i made you will see all the running kill(bagging) gathered up in the middle of a 5yrd length of net, this has been gathered for the pic. now if you look at yours it seems to be like a tennis net Edited January 2, 2008 by mole catcher Quote Link to post
devvo 0
cheers mole catcher, i understand how much bagging you need know il go set it up again and put more bagging in. thanks for the help and sticking with me devvo Quote Link to post
R_Oldroyd 17
Mucker, The rabbits will just bounce of that net. You need to shorten your long net. Your pegs are better length than the one you had before. Take note of molecatches net. Lots of bag in the net. Regards Roger. If its a shop bought net of 50yds it should be shorten to say 35 yds at a guess. Make most of my nets so i would what you can get away with. Edited January 2, 2008 by R_Oldroyd Quote Link to post

richie 1
in my 100yrd`er i have 200yrds on netting. i also have my top line pulled tight & leave my bottom line loose so it can sit on the ground comfortably. works a treat.. saying that, i also have a 50yrd`er with 75yrds of netting & a bottom leaded line & i just lowered the top line slightly to help add to the bagging in height.. used it last time i was out & caught two bolters... richie Quote Link to post
