Bobtheferret 1,248
My whippet chased a couple of big fallow does across a large wheat field the other week and made absolutely no attempt to actually catch them but kept up with them just fine! Gave them some exercise for the day! He is bloody fast but a rabbit dog and no more think he just fancied a chase . The big lurcher who doesn’t mind a deer has been made to look slow by deer a few times however.... 1 Quote Link to post

THE STIFFMEISTER 15,840
There’s a massive difference in your terrain and another guys a lad running small wet fields crisscrossed with wire etc could be fooled into thinking through no fault of his own that he has a four legged cervidae Exocet that same dog taken to a wooded area or a nice flat plateau with only a few copses in sight could often be in danger of loosing its seat home in the car at the end of the day 4 Quote Link to post
