Squirrel_Basher 17,100
Kennel cough has to run it’s course ,cannot be cured with antibiotics and from your post you are doing everything right .Keeping the dog warm and quiet will not exasperate symptoms .Roughly 2 weeks and dog will be fine .
jiggy 3,209
Heard vets telling people to use the 2 different flavours of veno human cough bottle. Cheaper than any vet meds and works. Once it gets in dose every dog in kennel or it will reoccur
Squirrel_Basher 17,100
You can dose the whole country mate but the chough will still last 2 weeks . It’s a virus that just needs to run its course .

I've seen people spend fortunes on vet meds. Large rescue kennels for example might vaccinate all dogs in care to prevent an outbreak and spend thousands even when it might not always work and won't be any good for treatment if it's allready set in. As long as there is no underlying issue which pneumonia sets in on an old or sick dog then they should be fine.
