Pup in the field

So I’m considering probably getting a pup in the new year. Watching Giles and his review of the wildcat mk2 and the more I’ve supped the more I think about it. There’s a lot of moving parts on show, cocking lever areas and so on. In fact a lot more. 

Me 7 has a right f’kin bashing in the field... rain, field dust, shit falling off trees, bits of twigs etc. and yet that action runs a dream, bolt and everything. Having looked at plenty of pups over the past few weeks, some of you have cats or Vulcans, they all have plenty on show and I don’t want to have to think about dust gettin into the action or cockin mech while on a pod over a warren on the summer. 

Anyone had any issues with shit getting into the vital areas? With all you lads getting impacts and so on.

Haven't found any problems yet ,but I do blow all of my guns out with airline then wipe them over

Never had any problems with the wildcat in two years of rat shooting on shity dairy and pig farms... used it in horrific rain and freezing temps!

got a mk2. 25 on me shopin list but none about

Cheers chaps. Two minded like. But leaning towards a cat mk2 lam like yourself Mac. 

Rapid will be staying I think. Let to many go and f’kin regretted it.

You can walk around all day with a cat Rez as they are so light and well balanced to say nothing of them being a joy to shoot.
