Thanks. I removed the pics because the very first reply was

years ago borders were once fox dogs.
and I couldnt be bothered to have another arguing thread about borders, given the aggro one of the others had got, so I thought Id take them off and nobody could moan about it. Thank you for your interest though, much appreciated.

Dawn put them back up ignore what other people think or say, theres plenty of genuine people on these forums but as with anywhere...theres idiots who try to BIG themselves up, putting other people down and their dogs as well as posting stupid illegal threads as if its clever and they gain a few inches on their meat...... water off a ducks back. :D

Ok, thanks. As I originally said before I deleted it, he has been ratting and equipped himself well, he has "retrieved" a few Squirrels :whistling: He will retrieve but is too hard mouthed, so I doubt I can use him for retrieving birds like my bitch does, but anyway im pleased up till yet.

Lovely pup nelson, you got snow, or was it taken a while ago?

Yes Dawn we have snow here, 8)

He's alright and i hope he does what he is bred for otherwise it's :gunsmilie: for him.

The other two in the litter have been given to working homes aswell so hopefully something will come right.

On the bit about a good Border being better than any other etrrier, i would like to dissagree.

It really don't matter what colour, coat type, pedigree or other that makes a good worker.

It starts with the breeding, goes through entering and oppotunity, ends with the heart and brain in my opinion and the best working terrier i have had so far has been Black.

Not the best behaved by a long way but when it came to working, she was superb.

Lovely looking pup Dawn! :D

We've got a pup at the mo that is 9 months old and she'll be lucky if she makes it to 12 months. I call her the ASBO pup. She is by far the naughtiest Border we've had for a long time!!! :o

All the best
