Just noticed a fairly well stocked field of rabbits near me has been hit by the dread myxxy ? Numbers have only just started picking up round here after a few years of low numbers and now looks like they are gonna struggle again. Pray for the bunnies!

Same here mate was doing well then last 2 week started picking the poor blind feckers up

Picked 2 up this week was doing alright and they were thriving aswel. Walk on the field and they are bolting everywhere. Won’t be for long by the looks of it.

If they had it previous years might not be to bad I caught a few baring the scars of having survived it but if they not had any mixi in the last 5 years or so could be decimated

Place I go now holds a fair few enough for me but 5/6 years ago wasn't a bunny in sight loads of old holes all over but wouldn't see um now there's normally 5 or so in each field and can lamp it back after 20 mins and there out again

A few places around like that. Abandoned holes that once looked like it was busy with nothing to be see around them these days. The few places that do hold you just want them to thrive and spill out into surrounding area’s. Was even thinking of trying to repopulate these dead area’s by catching bolted rabbis in nets when ferreting and then dropping a days catch into an old warren and hoping for the best.

Always worth a shot mate there's a few on the moors by me but not enough to go at but I'm leaving them be few moor years who knows they might end up all over and I'll be chuffed but walking the dog the other night parked up and right in front of my car there was a fair size dog fox about 20m away from some sheep and there was 3 or 4 rabbits the other side of the Bush..... so let the horn go off to scare it away at least for that time anyway. I don't see a grate future for the humble rabbit but they have bounced back before and I'm hoping they will again

Last couple of years fox numbers were down round here and are still quite low. Used to see them down the street when you walked to the shop. Remember being 15 year old and sending the family staff after one ? straight lined the f****r and it was only jogging. Dog came back and I’m sure he was blushing ?. Starting to see them again now though which isn’t good for the bunnies. Gonna have to start a foxxy food bank to keep em fed and steering clear of the bunnies. Wow I’m turning into a conservationist!

Keepers used to feed foxes to keep them off the poults but leave enough for the hunts

Not allowed to mention the words rifle men anymore. It’s frowned upon. Numbers of rifle men have increased and they need trimming down abit before we’re overun ?

Think we should have a day a year of coursing riflemen ? I'll see what the queen makes of it when she pops over for a cuppa
