it'll still be there when he's gone, just looking after it.

bizarre threads, need permission I know I'll ask folk looking for permission ?

Serious question, if you owned land, would you let anyone come and use it and take whatever they wanted whenever they felt like it?

I keep dogs etc so obviously wouldn't be giving permission to everyone. Chances are I'd just get to know about the knob heads visiting and you don't own wildlife.

there was a old fella used to go mental if he saw someone exercising/training a dog in one of his empty fields or if the kids were sledging etc. And another one that cut a conker tree down to stop the kids going in his field, sad men, wouldn't/won't be like that

serious question  mate, if a person  walked up to you and asked could run his dog for few foxes  and only go out with you on that night, would you still say no to him ?  as he not  poached he up front and asked. you say you lot of land with your clubs the odd night wouldnt hurt . like i said on here  most land owners say no with dogs on there ground , got better chance with a gun, but as you run dogs  thought might be bit differnt .?  my sef i used go round knocking doors and 96% said no, and the rest didnt want dogs didnt mind a gun , after 30 odd years of asking  , it sinks in sooner or later lurchers are not wanted on the ground, and after all what ever x lurcher it still classed as a poacher's dog. bloody hell my big dont  dont even look like a lurche,r , but it still a no no  when ive asked  for permission , and people wonder why we poach  lol , it common sense  aint it   lol , but any young lads out there keep asking you never know you might drop lucky one day, and knock a door who dont mind lurchers .

A man can't decide he owns part of this rock just because he fancies it. He can if he buys it though.

Yes mate that’s the angle from within the man made system we live. We’re just thinking outside the system. He owns what and all that are man made concepts. Agreed rules if you like that we all agree to live by. For instance if we were invaded by another country who owns what goes out the window. We’re just saying we’re born into a already made system that’s man made. Take that system away and we all have just as much right to walk anywhere on this planet as Lion and other animals do and just as much right to do as we please. That is true freedom. Not this man made jail that we have created through rules and regulation.

Good to hear from the older boys who have had loads of experience trying to get what we’re all after and how times have changed or more to the point NOT changed. Permission obviously gets rid of any anxiety on the walk. Not constantly watching around like a hawk on your tip toes. Remember watching Heartbeat as a kid and seeing Lord Greengrass getting on his toes ? if he can do it anyone can! All you can do is stay as low key as possible and enjoy the experience and the adrenaline that sometimes comes with it! We’re not forcing dogs to run game, we’re allowing them to be what they are and they  have just as much right as anything else. Don’t worry puppies there’s still enough people about ready to run the risk so you can keep your paws flying, we’re right behind you! Get on!
