Ferretgirl29, you say you aint in a rush for a pup, so what katchum said about waiting til spring is probably your best bet. Also the best time to have a pup  about. Obviously up to you if you want to make cakes til then though lol . By the way, grey/collie/whippets normally make great ferreting dogs, but also good should you wish to do a little more in future
