Although, yesterday I was pretty good. Normally, I go in for one thing and end up with a bit of that, half a dozen of those, some of them, half of that, a couple of those, a tray of them

 

Yesterday was some topside and a chicken breast for Sunday, a couple of bits of belly pork (because it looked so nice), some smoked bacon with the rind left on (haven't had that for ages), a bit of pork skin (he still gives it away or bins it) and, because I've seen it mentioned on here but I've never had it, some Scottish white pudding

 

The white pudding didn't last long - I fried that last night.

 ......... It's very nice, a slightly creamy flavour.

I've mentioned the girl at work before - she's less than adventurous with her food and, made it perfectly clear that she wasn't going to be trying any pig skin

 

I sent her a couple of pictures today while it was cooking.

I salted both sides and cooked it in the oven, turning it a couple of times. When it was almost finished, I put some honey on the fat side and, put it back in for a couple of minutes.

 

I ran it over to work. The big yank loved it.

She took more convincing - I told her if she tries a bit, I'll stop going on.

Guess what - she tried it, liked it and, had some more.

 ......... I'm calling that another win

Didn't she invite you to her party but you refused incase the "other" man beat you up.?

Yes, that's the one - I stayed at home, under my bed. You can't be too careful eh.
