dogs can digest a full stomach of food in 12 hours so you can feed a dog the normal amount of food (or if its going to be worked hard the next day i give extra) 12 hours before going out .... CASPA you dont seem to know a lot about feeding mate ... your dogs will be running on empty if you are only feeding a small amount 24 hours before taking them out .... if you feed a nice fatty meat diet on the saturday night you WILL get more out of the dog the next day .........

i feed mine miced chicken and some cooked and raw veg with a little garlic and herbs give them a raw bone once a week i feed them last thing at nite just in case i get the erge for a trip out

i no wat u mean but i new a fella who had trak dogs.he used to do it andhis dogs always pased warms next day.and did not upset ther stumok like dog warmers

i think your [bANNED TEXT] socks dogs cant store alot of energy so if you dont feed them for 24 hrs the energy that they gained from there last meal will be spent

firstly you shouldnt feed dried and meat together as the dogs gut absorbs them at different times and this can cause digestive problems ... and secondly you shouldnt feed onions as the can cause upset stomach, and can cause heinz body anemia ................

mostly i feed raw diet chicken mince pasta fish ect ......but once maybe twice a week i mix raw mince with with good quality dried food ....but i always add liquid e.g. gravy or what ever ....you know your stuff socks of the feeding side of things ....so how would the digestive side off things work if i did that ..???ive never seemed to have any probs ..... cheers snoop ..

 

the problem with dried food mate is that it is desinged to break down slowly in the dogs gut and realease a steady amount of the minerals and vitamins over an 18 to 24 hour period thats why you should only feed the measured amount once a day ...the gravy if left over the food will soften the dried meal and help with the absorbtion proces but it wont really do any more than that ..... the other reason that i never feed evan a handfull of dried food is the fact that it swells when in the gut put a handfull of dried in a bowl and pour over warm water and go back an hour later and you will see what i mean .... so once your dog has a belly fuul of food and settles down to sleep the body is trying to break down the meal it has just had but the dried food is still swelling inside the dog and stretching the gut ..............

i was going to put up what i feed my dogs and why (what meats for what and what veg's for variouse vitamins etc) but i cant be bothered when you have fecking idiots that no matter what they are told wont listen so i wont waste my time typing on here casper you carry on doing what you want and when you have a dog looking like this then i will listen to what you have to say ............
