Sub £ 200 Springer

Right lads my pals after a Springer under 200 scoped preferably. Any of the Springer men recommend anything I've told him to save for a lgu in .177 but he wants one to use straight away what would be the best gun for him ( I don't have a clue with Springer )

If it was me I'd get him a hw99, great little guns.

I’m with Tom... the 99 is a mint little rifle, £200 new with iron sights but you’ll be able to get a scoped one second hand for the same price.

I wouldn't swear to it but I think there is a s/h in my rfd with a scope on, I will give them a call tomorrow to see if I am right, if so it is in Scunthorpe

get a decent second hand kit for 200

If he goes down the 99s route, make sure its .22 as its very difficult to get close to the 12 ftlbs limit in .177, if he saved or scrounged another £50-£100 he is in scoped up decent springer I.E hw 77 hw80  hw 95  etc in whatever calibre he fancies.

Or there is a Walther LGV in Kirklees guns for 275 or an LGV master pro for 295, and well you know what I think of them, the best out the box springer you can get.

I'm barred from Kirklees guns I've mentioned the lgu to him I loved mine but too near Xmas for him to save any more

Lol banned my brother was too. Kranks has a good second hand selection but if you buy a new 99 iv a 3-9x40 Mil dot hawke scope and mounts he can have and I'm not far away.

HW99s are around £205 

or the hatsan 60s is supposed to be good .

Had me on a 2 day lie down in Huddersfield station ... shouldn't of really jumped over counter to fill him in though really haha whereabouts are you ?
