I reckon during an average week I loose off 50-60 shots - mostly paper punching and some pest control. That Impact would be the nuts. Basically fill & forget! I think that could be a problem with it its that good on shot count you may forget to check and one day or night out in the field its going to be empty lol lucky i Carrie my bottle with me in the tank atvbjimmy Quote Link to post

Rez 4,961
Probably just myself here but I notice a shift in airgun favors. Everyones pullin there shafts and getting these 1.5k impacts now... But what’s the big deal? Ticket granted, but sub I mean. I bet a 100 is just as accurate, or even a trick ultra, in fact, me and my 98 at the moment, probably short lived but... is it the look or something? Is everyone going this AR tac way...? Just puttin it out there. 1 Quote Link to post

More than 18 months ago I saw a s/h Impact in the rfd in .22 sub 12, I slapped on a spare scope and went in the on site range.......................................this was a different shooting experience. I looked at converting it to fac as that was what I wanted but at that time just too much hassle. I went away with only one goal, to own an Impact but why, I don't like tactical / military styled guns BUT this one is different. When the .25 fac came in and again I strapped on a scope and spent the next two hours playing with it, I just felt this was special to use and is like no other rifle I have seen or tried. I would if I had the money have one in sub 12 as well with a full set of cal barrels. If you have the chance to shoot one rez, do have a go mate. Phil 1 Quote Link to post

I was like you rez at first THEN i got an invite to go shooting with ALLAN (PAV) had a look through the thermal scope fitted to the impact then half way through the night he handed me the rifle you shoot that and ill drive yes it is fac and .25 but the first time i held it it felt right and i was blown away at how accurate the rifle was so off i went and got one yes its sub 12 and as you know i like the tac look plus its got the x,liner barrel so if i want to change it later to .25 or 22 i can with a barrel kit or x,liner and probe I put 19 pellets(full mag) in the same hole the liner makes it not pellet fussy any pellet with be good in these rifles mind i blanked again last night only saw two rabbits but they soon did one when the lamp hit them so still to see what its like on rabbits Is a hw100 as good well thats a hard one rez i loved my hw100 and in my eyes there still the best but with the impact having 19 shots in the mag and 600 shots per fill its got the edge over the hw100 and in 22 its got 18 shots in the mag and 720 shots per fill on the plus side yes we blanked but viz landed us a new perm last night and may be two at that , Im still going to have another hw100 as a back up rifle but im not sure if it will ever get used as ill pick the impact up every time unless its away for a service atvbjimmy 1 Quote Link to post
