Born Hunter 17,751
Quote LONDON (Reuters) - One of the most influential Brexit-backing lawmakers in Prime Minister Theresa May’s party gave the strongest hint to date on Monday that rebels might back her departure deal, saying that a bad exit accord was better than staying in the European Union. May has warned lawmakers that unless they approve her Brexit divorce deal after two crushing defeats, Britain’s exit from the EU could face a long delay which many Brexiteers fear would mean Britain may never leave. Quote “No deal is better than a bad deal but a bad deal is better than remaining in the European Union in the hierarchy of deals,” Rees-Mogg told LBC radio. “A two-year extension is basically remaining in the European Union.” Rees-Mogg said his dream option would be a no-deal exit on March 29 but that he felt May - a former supporter of EU membership who won the premiership in the turmoil that followed the 2016 Brexit referendum - would seek to stop a no-deal. https://uk.reuters.com/article/uk-britain-eu/brexit-boost-for-may-as-rebel-rees-mogg-signals-he-could-back-her-idUKKCN1QZ15Z Edited March 18, 2019 by Born Hunter

Some people fail to grasp the concept of democracy, leave won, remain lost, shit happens in life, but if remain won we wouldn't still be bitching, whining and throwing our toys out the pram spitting our dummies and shouting we want another referendum because the first didn't go our way like petulant children ffs 2 3

Caravan Monster 323
@sandymere would that be the same 'People's Vote' march that (very remain biased) Mayor Sadiq Khan's Greater London Authority counted at 250,000?

Caravan Monster 323
The numbers on those marches don't really matter, it didn't change anyone's mind. The important thing is to question everything we are told, even by sources such as the government or BBC that most of us would have trusted 20 years ago. For what it's worth, I wouldn't trust some statements made by the leave side either, but do believe that the broad argument to leave the eu is correct. One issue both sides are avoiding is european military unification, which we have already been signed up for on the quiet. It's an in depth subject, but worth knowing about: https://www.ukcolumn.org/series/eu-military-unification
