Having said that you can just imagine how much piss they will take out of us if go snivelling back. Lets not forget those MP's that voted every thing down so they can engineer a no Brexit, the treacherous b*****ds. Cheers Arry Do you think the people have it in them to rise up if the government appease the minorities and cancel brexit?

A few mate but most will roll over I think, shame! all seems so spineless these days. Days like the miner strikes and the poll tax riots etc are gone, we should be more like the French. Its one thing I admire them if they don't like some thing they come out block the roads etc or riot. Quite protest gets you nowhere. Cheers Arry

Aye if the bill somehow passed the DUP would definitely vote no confidence in May, hell I wouldn't be suprised if they called the vote themselves! But even if it's voted down their support in a confidence vote isn't guaranteed especially after she's tried to play them with this renegotiation that hasn't changed anything regarding the backstop. May is foolish if she thinks the DUP are so scared of a Labour government that they'll support her regardless of what she does. We'll know which way they're leaning if Corbyn actually calls a vote of no confidence because he's not going to call it until he's fairly certain it will be successful. Sounds like May has survived quite comfortably tonight with less than 100 voting against her. Of course that just means the MPs who are really against her will start looking for other ways to undermine her leadership, going to be interesting times!

Mogg has never really had any hope of being anything more than a well known backbencher TBH.

steve66 3,542
117 against , moggy is still calling for her head
BGD 6,436
Certainly not a strong enough victory to shut up her critics. Like I said earlier they'll just be emboldened and start looking for other ways to undermine her. Divisions have been deepened, not healed.

Blackbriar 8,569
63% of her MPs backed her, so the Tory's self- indulgent vanity project is over, for now..........but she's in no better a position than she was on Monday, when she bottled the showdown. Nothing has changed and nothing will - and, to be honest, it's difficult to see how anything she does will make any difference at all.........what an appalling situation to find ourselves in !
