Guest bigredbusa
4 year old wanted to go ferreting today , so i took her down the local farm for a bit and done a couple in a meadow . horse rider turns up and starts giving me shit telling me i shouldnt be there and look at the mess i had made by putting all them holes everywhere !! lol (rabbit holes) and her horse could break its leg . ended up in a blazing row telling the dozy bint the holes she was looking at was the rabbit holes lol she left promptly with her tail between her legs. meanwhile ....... the ferret was not coming up after all that crap going on , managed to get a fix on her but she was getting dragged so i sent the big hob down to do the business , loads of noise and 30 secs later he comes up shaking is head with blood pissing out of the corner of it's eye, i think he must of taken a kicking by the mike tyson of rabbits. i cleaned him up the best i could , must be sore as he wont let me near him . finaly got a fix on the jill at 1.5 ft , i broke thru and she wasnt even with the rabbit . not happy went back to the farm to find out farmers wife is my daughters swimming teacher , had a good chat that has opened up the possabilities of more permission , so a little good come out of it. the second pic should have a caption ' ha ha you mug' next to it. Pain in the ass she is. If she dosent pick up by the end of the season I may have to find her a new home or similar. Quote Link to post
pigeonphill 69
ive got a old white jill with no top canine teeth one was broke clean off and the other one i had to pull off as it was just hanging there by the gum this was not at the same time but on two different times and i think she was one of two ferrets what come up and had been raked down there back taking there fur off down to there skin looking very sore, if only they could tell there own storys Quote Link to post
gnipper 6,485
Was the rabbit definitely not there? Seems strange for a jill to stay in one spot for nothing? I've had digs in the past where you break in and no rabbit but a bit more scraping about you spot a bit of fluff and bingo. They can be bloody hard to spot sometimes. Quote Link to post
devvo 0
sometimes when you break in, the soil falls on top of the rabbit weve found ,not saying it had here Its a wierd feeling when you break through to your ferret, then stick ya hand in looking for a rabbit that isnt there Quote Link to post
