Torquemada 288
Can anyone recommend a bipod for AAS410 carbine?? Preferably not expensive! Thanks. Quote Link to post
Phill-W68 547
Can pick them up on flea-Bay and amazon for £15-£20.... Quote Link to post
PLEDGEY 496
What ever you get make sure it swivels. If it don't, and you're trying to shoot on ground that slopes sideways you'll have to level it by adjusting one of the legs and that's a ball ache. 1 Quote Link to post
philpot 5,035
As above really well covered. If you are buying one from ebay, take a close look at the detail because as Pledgey said, it MUST have 'TILT' or 'SWIVEL' and for the most part, they don't have. I have just given away a bipod because it did not have the tilt capability which was fine in the range on a bench but useless for field use. Spend a bit more and get one that WILL do what you NEED. This one is ideal https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Zeadio-6-9-Swivel-Pivot-Rotatable-Bipod-with-Sling-Mount-for-Rifle-Air-Gun-UK/182168937147?epid=1444792426&hash=item2a6a1d62bb:g:7fIAAOSwYlRZM9kB:rk:9:pf:0 This one is NOT https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Zeadio-Adjustable-Spring-Bipod-for-Hunting-Shooting-Air-Rifle-Gun-3-Sizes-UK/171729465129?_trkparms=aid%3D555017%26algo%3DPL.CASSINI%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D55148%26meid%3D7fc75126efb3412fb22ddc4d59e68a56%26pid%3D100505%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D1%26%26itm%3D171729465129&_trksid=p2045573.c100505.m3226 Hope that helps Phil 1 Quote Link to post

Deker 3,478
Unless your ONLY shooting activity is Benchrest then Swivel every time! Quote Link to post
Torquemada 288
I got one of the swiveling bipods. It's not really obvious how it actually attaches to the rifle. Anyone got any ideas? Quote Link to post
Jonjon79 13,358
Have you got a sling stud in your stock? 1 Quote Link to post
Torquemada 288
No... Quote Link to post
Jonjon79 13,358
42 minutes ago, Torquemada said: No... You'll need one mate and, you'll need to drill a hole in the front end of the stock. Mark the position carefully and triple check it before you go in with the drill. The bipod will have 2 little pins that go into either side of the stud and, a part underneath that you screw tight with your fingers. The sling studs are usually sold in pairs - the short one is for the front of the stock. There might be a couple of YouTube videos with hints and tips for fitting. Good luck 1 Quote Link to post
Phill-W68 547
Just remember to take the action out of the stock before any drilling... 1 Quote Link to post
Torquemada 288
Thanks fellas. I am pretty good with drilling into walls and such, but delicate work isn't my skill set. And as for removing the action... that would mean I have spare bits at the end. I will see if I can find someone to do it for me. Quote Link to post
si brown 8,486
It’s really easy to do, there are two or three screws on the stock to take off and it won’t affect the rifles mechanics. Pick where you want to fit the stud and pilot o hole with a hammer and nail... then it’s just drill straight through with a 4.5mm bit! take your time and it’ll be fine save yourself a few quid.. I ordered a couple of eBay the other day https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F261712853657 Quote Link to post
Torquemada 288
And do you have to empty the air first? Quote Link to post

No the stock comes away from the rifle without you having to do anything to the action. I had a 510 same stock as yours, it’s a doddle to do 1 Quote Link to post
