Illegal lamping hull

Recommended Posts

Illegal lamping in hull has just been on look north (Yorkshire local bbc news) stating there had been rise in this crime and the police are going to crack down on it.last week end the farm next to me was hit for 2 consecutive nights were they left the gates open with sheep in the field & broke locks and chains of gates plus driving all over crops.i don’t get this driving all over fields in 4x4s ,I am not saying I am perfect but if I had strayed off my permission I wouldn’t want to advertise the fact by driving a 4x4 and damaging gates etc .

I worked a local farm for years and always got a call from farmer asking me to ferret etc until last year.

He called and said he had no choice but to ban every one from doing anything on his land because rogue  lampers.

They have no respect for anything,

This gives running dog lads a bad name,

We really don't need this,

Pest control with lurchers is coming to an end and it's this that's putting the nails deeper into the coffin.

We need land owners on side,

Its about helping farmers ,land owners clear pests ,but when they see us as the pest that breaks gates and damages the crops we should be helping to protect what chance do we have.

Same as pics some post on Facebook, its these pictures the antis use against our way of pest control.

It’s hard luck you getting kicked off for other lads rogue lamping as you say. It’s not going to stop them tho is it if anything have a decent lad on the land with permission is surely going to help farmers rather than kicking everyone off. If there’s game on there still gunna get lads on there ,
